I have a bet of a soft spot for the 27 Chev (I have one back in NSW patiently waiting for me to finish, another story for another time)

This old truck was unreal, it still ran and drove in the street parade!

That's a pretty classy turnout.
I would own the Beer Barrel Ford in a heartbeat and I'm not a Ford guy!
Quite remarkable to see so many vehicles without front brakes. This means they are (almost) 100 years old or more. The original manufacturers would never have expected them to still be running.

Yes, I think old Henry himself was one of the last to be convinced of the benefit of 4 wheel brakes. The 1927 T model didn't have them...zuffen wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 7:22 am That's a pretty classy turnout.

From my research he even started "conspiracy theories" about the danger of uncontrolled skids when the front wheels locked up, whereas if the rear wheels locked up the car was still controllable (He said...).
Yeah. I've changed my signature. The old one was out of date...

Love that old truck too. Bet it attracted more attention than the expensive fully restored cars there!
