Re: SPINNER FORDS
That's a rare one and the first one I've seen. I've been 100mph+ in spinner but it was OHV motivated
If it has tits or wheels, you can expect trouble.

Re: SPINNER FORDS
Gman might post a few pics and stories.
He has had a bit of a play with them.
My younger brother had a ripper black one in the 60s but no idea
where it has gone.

You would be a brave man to drive at 100 mph with a stock steering box ,before I changed to a Volvo box my spinner was scary at anything over 100 kph ..

Re: SPINNER FORDS
thats the way it was done in 50.s no problem at all also back then we were racing cars(my FX)(on the circuit)in polo shirts .no roll cages..drum brakes ..etc i have a customline here with std box here thats more than capable of exceeding 100mph not that i would do that on a public h/way of coursespinner50 wrote:You would be a brave man to drive at 100 mph with a stock steering box ,before I changed to a Volvo box my spinner was scary at anything over 100 kph ..
