Thanks Joe. I actually laughed out loud.
Was pissin' about with where to place them and they don't come
with double sided tape
They are now fixed on with small bolts.

Just came inside from the cold. Needed to adjust one of the engine mounts and shuffle the
gearbox a little to suit.
All good now. Will be getting some Jag seat runners on weekend and finishing
off the body section that the doors close up to.At the moment it is wood and not easy to weld to.

Tassie Dave’s Vicky has found a new home…….

I was fortunate enough to be able to drop in and see Dave in the shed a few times during the build, he was a clever bugger.

I plan on keeping a lot of Dave’s head plan :D but also have a few ideas of my own.

To refresh everyone’s memories
31 model A Vicky
32 stamped rails, boxed, rod tech IFS and triangulated 4 link
Toyota 5v-eu (4 litre Toyota Hemi) 4 speed Auto (although I do have a Supra manual box in the shed as a backup

Stay tuned I will try to update with pics soon.

I am interested in seeing this build finished too.

I remember talking to Dave at the Vic Hot Rod Show many years ago and he asked me if I knew of any good Coupe bodies around as he preferred that to the Vicky at the time. I gave my opinion that the Vicky was a heaps cooler body style and something different to the norm.

Good luck with the build
