Thunderbolt Merlin FJ
Anyone remember what magazine had a article about the Merlin powered FJ(FX?) drag car around about 1966/67?........think it was called Thunderbolt..........thanks........Andy Douglas

I thought it was in Australian Rodding World but I couldn't see it in any of the copies I have, if it was Australian Hot Rodding Review or Australian Hot Rod then that's a problem as I only have a few of each as I got rid of most of them yrs ago, a pity.......but I remember seeing an article somewhere.........lol.............anyone?.........andyd

I saw this car at Fishermen's Bend drags around 1966-7. Me and my mates caught the train to Spencer street and walked from there!
I saw it drag here on a number of occasions, would not know what magazine it was in. Could not afford magazines back then.

I thought that was a wonderous thing when I first read that article as a boy enthusiast. It's still a piece of work .
