It was a great night 5 hours of fun & enjoyment, Wally Clark entertained us with his stories of racing in North America for close on 50 years. Greg Goddard and his son Darren arrived from Qld. and we learned about Greg's history, the start of the Southern Hot Rod Club and his stories of building the first Dragsters in Australia. The man is a living legend of Australian Hot Rodding and should be honoured by this sport while he is still around. I will try to get some pics and post them here for all to see, I have received many thanks for organising the night and so far no complaints. All is well.

Bob your old rail is still in Tassie but there isn't much more that 1/8th racing at Tarmak at this point in time.
I ran it for a few years and had a ball with it!

Bob, I don't still own it but the fellow I sold it to still has it, but I think it could be up for sale again.
I'd like to own it again for more runs down the strip!
