Re: West Aussie Events Calendar
So any Pinball Wizard Wanabe's in PERTH?
So remember when you were young and Sex was Safe and Smoking was considered Cool and you sat around waiting to press record on the tape deck when 96FM played that song you were waiting hours for. Remember going to the corner shop or to the local Fish-n-Chip Shop and playing the Pin Ball Machine as a kid or Teenager. Remember how much you thought about playing those machines, if you were anything like me (Around my age) then you were around for the slow death of Pin Ball, while along with all the other things of those times, we watched them make way for the latest and greatest like VCR to Blue Ray, Tape deck to CD to MP3 to whatever it's called now, Kodak instamatics and polaroid's to DSLR’s, Even the humble Abacus to the commodore 64 to the Lap Top im typing away on now and the demise of Pin Ball to give way for the likes of Space Invaders and an onslaught of stand ups like Asteroids, Galaxia and even that annoying Donkey Kong, to now where every house has a Playstation or and X-Box or 2, along with a couple of million $ worth of games on disc’s collecting dust in the corner of the entertainment cabinet.
So what’s with all the Rambling on,
Well I recently loaded up a 3D Pin Ball game in the Playstation 4 for a lap around my miss spent youth and while the 3D version wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t the same and that got me thinking.
Surely there’s a few others out there that would like to take a quick painless trip back down memory lane. So that’s where the latest and greatest idea for a Hot Rodders event came from.
How about a Pin Ball Tournament, a full on multi table pocket full of coins Pin Ball Wizard Show Down.
We Have a venue and we have up to 12 machine to run a proper competition and a Sausage Sizzle and a few drinks. The venue has a limit of 50 players, with room for spectators and can entertain a couple of kids while the Adults play. There’s even a 6000 song play list Jukebox for the night and im sure we can get a Who song or Two on the night (I think that’s mandatory)
Just need to know if there’s enough interest in the idea to get it off the ground. This is another opportunity for those who are always involved in putting on Rodder’s Events to just come along and enjoy without any pressure or responsibility because we just want you to enjoy a night out with a bit of a difference.
Looking at the 29th or 30th of July 7pm to Midnight
Cost, is non-Profit $25 per player, includes a sausage sizzle (Soft Drinks and Beers available)
$5 for all others (includes a sausage Sizzle)
Only thing missing is us
Should be a good night.
Definitely limited to 50 players and we got more than that to the xmas cruise,
So 1st in will be best dressed and will need to be a pre-purchase player ticket. Email: Cranky31@live.com or shot me a text 0439 910 720 or an internal PM

Re: West Aussie Events Calendar
Folks,
"Calling all sponsors".
Looking to run the North of the river Xmas Light Cruise again, just like last year when we had 50 cars turn up.
As far as I could tell, everyone enjoyed it.
Last year you helped donate $750 to charity (Angel Flight) this year Ronald McDonald House or ?
So looking for industry assistance with raffle prize donations, dosnt have to be mega $$ stuff, all things welcomed.
Rodders event for Rodders....
Flyer and details coming soon.
(Pinball event still on the cards as well, stay tuned).
Regards Mark

Re: Yanchep Picnic 13 November 2016
Hi everyone - it's nearly Yanchep Picnic time.
No fancy posters for this event just a laid back enjoyable family/rodders picnic day
Enter the Yanchep National Park between 9.30-10.30am via the northern gate (Wanneroo Road, 3km north of the main Park entry).
Meals and snacks available at the historic Yanchep Inn or bring your own to enjoy in the Park.
Free Bouncy Castle for the kids, great prize giveaways in the lucky prize draw. Select traders and crafts stalls in attendance plus all the other usual National Park activities.
Open to all pre 1978 hot rods, customs and American muscle cars. The cost is $5 per car which includes entry to the Park and one lucky number in the big draw. Note if you bring your street car full park entry fee applies. Sorry, but no dogs allowed in the National Park.

The Retro rewind is a free event hosted by the City of Wanneroo in the Yanchep National Park - Saturday 4 March 2017
Day includes Bands, Vintage Markets and lots of kids activities.
Entry to the National park is waived (free) for this day
Goodfellas co-ordinate hot rod entry but we only have space for about 50 cars so request pre entry via the link on the form
We ask cars to enter about 1230 to get in before the main public - entry will be via the main park gate this year (we will not be opening the back gate this year)
Details of event http://www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au/retro

Please note - once you pre enter I will send you confirmation but it could take about a week for that to happen and City of Wanneroo send me the information in batches
Cheers Jeff
