G'Day Steve,
They're the same old ones mate 5/8"UNF(?) from memory. Got them from the UK from an aircraft supplier. Highest MPA rating I could find.
The Fella that made the rods said, "yes, good units" .

Cheers, Mudgy

Well G'Day All,

I do finally have a nice shiny new fuel tank.
I've put that on hold, as I have 3 x new machines to install at an Aluminium Can factory in Sydney.
The Germans, Aussie engineering guys, and us are there to plonk them in.....
And I find out tuesday morning (after a rough Monday night) I have Covid. FFS, if there is a God, he hates me.

Even tonight I'm having the sweats again. Can't go back on site til I'm OK.....
My offsider has stepped up to the plate, and he's kicking ass on site.

And I managed to dodge this crap the whole while.

Anyone who's had it, I can now understand how messed up this can make you feel.

Cheers, (a sick) Mudgy

G'day everyone,

I'm planning a trip to Mt Gambier soon. Does anyone know where Gerry 302 coop is? I want to catch up and buy him a beer while I'm there.
I tried his number tonight, seems like another dude has his job.

Sorry for languishing, but my tank is made, I went to Truckline for some truck fuel tank strap rubbers, I got some 50mm x 3mm flat bar, and I'm hoping to make straps for this thing SOON....I have contacted another engineer (NSW) and here's hoping I can get that damn stuck thumb out of the ass and get moving. I've been in backyard mode, and bonsai mode for AGES.... but that malaki is all looked after now.... I've been a good boy, and the project is NOT covered in crap. I've kept the space clean, and ready to "crack on with".
Cheers, Mudgy.
