I am always worried about the consumibles buying things like that from Aldi. They just don't stock them!
Have you found another source for them?

To try where there is little hope, is to risk failure.
Not to try at all, is to guarantee it!
I always thought that would just be something else taking up space... and once done - what do I do with it? Perhaps I'll churn through as many $$$ of discs compared to getting one. But I'll just keep on doing stuff by hand & discs. At least the trusty angle grinder will be useful after I'm done.

Side project today - I was cleaning some cuts of steel on my disc sander last night - only this morning when cleaning the bench, I found a deep burnt patch on the benchtop under the sanding disc
I thought, "SHIT !!! I COULD HAVE HAD A FIRE".
So I sliced up an old stainless steel BBQ door (you know, one of those "might use one day" items)
Hope this may help someone.

The steel I was cleaning up was off topic items. (posts & brackets to hold 3 x big bonsai I have)
So today I got to test out the spark shield. Does the job. From the ashes of an old part I knocked up another exhaust hanger thingy for up the back.
the 2 x centre lines of the rubbers should be in line with the centre of the pipes (well, maybe 1 or 2mm off) I can't work out how to mount it to the back cross member yet.
The body has to go on so that bit can be worked out. Incentive to plough through the jobs and get my 1st inspection done.

Thanks Chrisso. The back yard has taken near on 2 years to get back up to scratch after junking all the crap lying around - embarrassing, really..... it waters itself now, and is growing great. So I now once again have the time for being in the garage.. Kids cars seem to be all passing muster. (Still gotta do the Mrs. Mazda)
Plus I've saved a few bikkies to get stuff happening that I just can't do.
Thanks everyone for tuning in, I really appreciate it.

Still where I was last time on the car - but - back yard is 99%sorted. Garage has had a MASSIVE clean, re-organise, new cabinets and storage bins/shelves installed.
Now I have bench space. FKN YAY.
So this year, I'm planning fuel tank, mounting straps, A Arms, and a 2nd inspection.
