Small world hey
Those pics I posted, are from an electrican I used to work with.
they are copied from his original slides.
I would've been only 6 or 7yrs old back in '72 when they were taken.

A I R Adelaide 1970

Post by zacs56 »

I have a album full of photos from the 1973 drag nationalsin Adelaide .
We drove over in a ht hg holden panel van draged all weekend and then drove back home to Bendigo vic .
Oh we got into a/s final as well .
I think it was the weekend Paul Rogers push his Anglia off the trailer , and started to do a tune up and found iron filings in his rocker covers .
And the party on the friday and saturday night at the motel full of mexicans , so now we know why we took home so meny finals .

"YES" But as we went over about 6 times in 73 / 74 and some times in a hg monaro , so i could have some events mixed up with different times .
Because in a photo of the 73 Nats i have got a photo of paul running the car , But i think he had done time trials on the friday .
