Progress has been slow of late due to a long term project at work but now that that's over I can back to some more important things.
So here it's goodbye to the faithful old 4 banger, a nice old gal but she lacked that growl you need in a hotrod.

And in goes the V6, well the block and heads to check for clearances.
Big lump of a thing isn't it.

Nice tight 60 deg V will ensure theres plenty of room on the sides

And here she is with some of the dressup items.


So far it seems to fit rather well with at least 2 inches of room to the underside of the bonnet.
But there are a few problems.
Exits from the stock exhaust manifolds foul on the front K members. I may have to scallop them or fabricated new manifolds.
I'll have to make up some new engine mounts or fabricate adapter plates.
And the steering shaft will need a dog leg, which is often the case with V engined rods.
