Post by turns »

I wandered out to the Rod and Custom Show out at Rosehill Racecourse on the weekend for a bopeep.

Gotta say I had a great time, caught up with lots of people and left feeling somewhat inspired..............thought I would post some pics in here

Pete (Sly Fox) and I spent Saturday morning at the show.

The exhibits were pretty damned good and a great variety so no matter what your tastes there was something there to look at and learn from.

Pity you didn't bump the two of us.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Great Winter Warmer for us in "colder climes".

Looking forward to more!
Yeah. I've changed my signature. The old one was out of date...
What if climate change IS a hoax, and we make a better world for nothing?

I agree - there seemed to be something for everyone. I am always open to take a look at anything auto related however I probably gravitated to the Nostalgia Lane area judging by my pics. I went to the show on Sunday afternoon.

I’m late in contributing to this thread. A mate and I left Wagga at 4am on the Saturday morning to head up for a look, and also, I wanted to purchase one of the limited edition Roth Family signs which I did, and had Ed’s wife and one of their sons autograph it for me. It was good to have a look around, although I prefer the “normal” cars and not the art pieces personally.
Also caught up with Dale Wilkinson and had a look at the 32 roadster they had unveiled at the show, before checking out the 35 3 window Phil Stelling had unveiled also. An area I enjoyed again was the Hare & Forbes trade stand checking out the new tools and also getting to talking to some of the YouTube “content creators” that I see on the site. My mate and I have only been once before and that was two years ago when we headed up to meet Carl Fisher from Canada, a really genuine sort of guy. That time I also got the chance to see Dave Hart in person as it would be around 20 years since I have had the chance to do so. My mate wanted to visit the PPG stand as per last time, and we were fortunate enough to be able to speak to the PPG reps and Howard Astill re some prep tips and information my mate was seeking for the painting of his 56 Cadillac convertible.
I would have liked to spend more time in the Nostalgia Lane section and probably should have done so while my mate was on the PPG stand. I
Turns, I see you got a good shot of Geoff Rae’s former scalloped yellow 32 coupe, a really neat hot rod.
