I believe that a hotrod has to tick all the right sensory boxes.
Sight
Sound
Feel
Smell, maybe, some old cars do have a certain smell about them.
Taste, I'll leave that one up the owner's discretion.

The four never really did it in the sound department until she came on song but these little sixes sound sweet all through the rev range.
A bit of extra poke helps too.

Hi Brett.

That looks good and sounds well.

Looking at top of your engine, could you mount the thermostat housing to point to the passenger’s side and move the fitting in the top tank to the passenger’s side.

Another way to do it if you can’t reverse the housing would be to fit a top fitting that has a 90 deg bend in it and use a top hose with a 180 bend in it.

The 180 bend could also be made from brass tubing, then you would only have to use straight hose.

You should be able to buy mandrel bent stainless steel tubing.

I should be able to get it for you and I can make the top tank fitting as well.

Thanks Graham, the new alloy radiator is on order.
Hopefully it will be here in the next couple of weeks but you never know with aussie suppliers.

To do it right with the old rad would mean fabricating new top and bottom tanks with an internal nozzle. The old tanks are just too small for the size of outlets.

Probably a couple of hundred more bucks and with no guarantee of success. Better IMO to put that money towards a better solution.
