Officially the last panel is on!

Image
Finally got time to take the truck out and get some shots of the tailgate in the sun.

Image
A lot of hand forming and bead rolling went into making the whole tailgate from a flat sheet of 1.2mm/18g cold rolled metal. But it was worth it!

You have done an amazing job and whilst I have had no time for my own project at the moment watching your videos of the Willy's coming together is the inspiration to keep my dream alive.

Congratulations and get out and enjoy your hard work, especially with Summer around the corner.

Just stunning. Words can't explain the difference between the first and last photos on the Thread.

Yes, feeling that a bit at the moment. Only driven to the painters and back for its final cut and polish so far. End of next month the last painted will be fully cured, so will take it out more after that. :)

A stunning project, such attention to detail and also sharing it with everyone at the same time.. An inspiration to the rest of us 'mere mortals'...
I never make the same mistake twice, I do it 5 or 6 times just to be sure !!!

You Sir, have the most patient and understanding wife.

Now get onto her car and make it happen before you're both too old to enjoy them.

Yep!

"What he said!" (All of it...)

Looking forward to that day when it's out for some outdoorsy pix.
Yeah. I've changed my signature. The old one was out of date...
