9th Romans Hot Rod Run

Post by hugh ness »

Guys and girls, this was a great show. Perfect day, perfect venue and a big turnout. Hot Rodding is still alive and well.
Too many pics to list here. Check em out on my blog page!

Looks like a great run Peter and the sort of things I would like to be there as well. :)

Hey Marcus. Yes, mate, we enjoyed it. Some day we would love to actually be a part of the run if I ever get my finger out and get this truck on the road. Having a tough time with getting the bodywork sorted = laziness + lack of talent. There were a few real standout show cars. But for me, I prefer the raw stuff; the stuff that is done on a budget where you can see the guy has done his best to make it his statement. My wife couldn't figure out why I was drooling all over a very traditional 32 coupe in steel with scruffy black paint and scratches all over it. Each to their own, but there was the best of both worlds on display there yesterday.
