Andy, Polys "sort of cool" :?:

In the U.S. of A there is a massive movement back to Poly motors especially the strokers. 8) 8) 8)

I have been mentored and been supplied with parts from Poly guru Gary Pavlovich, a very wise and passionate person re the Poly.

Mick, yeh was being sort of facetious.......have you seen Chrysler Action magazine from the US?.......the late owner/publisher was instrumental in getting a new A series Poly intake manifold cast.......am saving up my sheckles........all of you latecomers should be paying guys like Swifty and others a fee for keeping the faith.............lol........ andyd

Robtus,
I loved your Olds sloper back in the day. Something about that grille and front sheet metal was very appealing and different to anything else around. Also loved the stance on the car.
Don`t know if I ever saw it in the metal (although I have a vague recollection of seeing it at a Shepparton run in the early 80`s?), but I still have the issue of Custom Rodder with the feature on your car in it.
A mate of mine has a complete 38 Olds sedan sitting in a paddock on his farm. The thing looks very cool just sitting there. The first thing I thought of when I saw it was your sloper.
Be good to see it back on the road one day.

So I went and had a look. Wow! black and white shots look like my mum's album from the 40's!

Good to see the car is still as it was. Pity you sold it. I assume you kept the missus. :)
Yeah. I've changed my signature. The old one was out of date...

Love the matching guards and wheels.
