A model Hinge pins

Post by rx4ord »

Mornin'

I am looking for oversize A model hinge pins.
Can buy them in the States at about $6 pair but freight is $25.
Are there some available in Aus. for a reasonable price?

Hi Dave

Might be cheaper to have some spun up on a lathe, I made some up for the 34 during the build, bushed a couple of the hinge plates as well.

Cheers

That's going straight to the pool room!

Thanks fellas.
I do know a clubmate who could lathe me some.
Might as well do the buggers in stainless.
