Theres a post on the HAMB stating that the funeral for Oz drag racing legend Eddie Thomas was held last Friday, he was 99yrs of age..........I am surprised I haven't seen any mention of this on Ozrodders..........RIP Mr Thomas...........andyd

Apparently he passed 11th November..........I'm surprised there appears to have been no mention of his passing on Ozrodders, tho' happy to be corrected.............strange, andyd

We travelled down to Melbourne for Eddies funeral , a very nice cheerful service [ if you can have one ]with funny eulogies from Fizz-ball Collins & Dave Bennett . Lots of people with drag racing , speedway & speedshop backgrounds, I caught up with people I havent seen for 40 years a very nice day for a great man .RIP Eddie ...

Thanks Spinner, I never met the man but admired his contribution to Oz hotrodding.........andyd
