note Jim Walton going into stage with no gloves [ lol]
Moon shot was the old Shaker body and Dave Gales Baroness , was the old shaker chassis
Splatt doesnt look any Different at all,just older
all victorian car,apart from corvett wich was a QLD car and cant remember his name, Jim reeds mustang. I all so attended that meeting way back then
ohhhhhh those were the days "so many Altereds"

i have more pics i will add tonight . the vette was john white . he sold it to joe polite ??? who crashed it in qld think he was killed going by memory here . dale gales bucket was baron 2 the baroness was his green cabriolet a model by memory

they are copied from his original slides.
I would've been only 6 or 7yrs old back in '72 when they were taken.

A I R Adelaide 1970
I have a album full of photos from the 1973 drag nationalsin Adelaide .
We drove over in a ht hg holden panel van draged all weekend and then drove back home to Bendigo vic .
Oh we got into a/s final as well .
I think it was the weekend Paul Rogers push his Anglia off the trailer , and started to do a tune up and found iron filings in his rocker covers .
And the party on the friday and saturday night at the motel full of mexicans , so now we know why we took home so meny finals .

"YES" But as we went over about 6 times in 73 / 74 and some times in a hg monaro , so i could have some events mixed up with different times .
Because in a photo of the 73 Nats i have got a photo of paul running the car , But i think he had done time trials on the friday .
